Shift: Full time days
Location: Blue Springs, MO
About the Role:We are seeking a proactive and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to manage patient care delivery within our primary care clinic. This role involves utilizing the full nursing process-assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation-to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will coordinate care, perform clinical duties, and provide guidance to supporting clinical staff.
Core Duties:- Provide professional nursing care in a clinic setting, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Perform telephone triage, manage efficient patient flow, and schedule emergent appointments.
- Coordinate comprehensive patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Serve as the clinic's subject matter expert for patient education, assessment interpretation, and documentation.
- Administer medications, insert IV access, and provide advice/recommendations to patients and families.
- Delegate tasks and supervise Medical Assistants and LPNs according to Scope of Practice and demonstrated competencies.
- Enter admission orders as directed by providers and manage clinical supply maintenance.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements:- Must possess an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in both Kansas (KS) and Missouri (MO).
- Note: Candidates with a single license may receive a contingent offer, requiring dual licensure completion within 90 days of the start date.
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team environment.
- Flexibility to assume Medical Assistant, LPN, or other administrative duties as clinic needs arise.
