Shift: Monday -Friday 11pm-7am
RN Supervisor Duties- Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for assigned units
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies
- Make nursing and aide assignments based on resident needs and staff skill sets
- Review grievances or complaints from staff and report concerns to the Director of Nursing
- Ensure adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment is available
- Assist in the development of preliminary and comprehensive resident assessments
- Review nurses' notes to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and reflective of resident status
- Encourage and support staff participation in training and development
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing personnel
- Promote resident dignity, safety, and quality of care at all times
Requirements- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings (LPN or RN)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing management experience
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Must meet all Connecticut licensure requirements with no active disciplinary actions
- Strong leadership, communication, and assessment skills
