What We Offer:
The Polysomnographic Technologist obtains polysomnograph recordings and performs all technical duties related to the polysomnograph evaluation of sleep disorders.
- Schedule: Tues, Wed, and Thurs; 7a-7p
- No Holidays
- Weekends are voluntary if there is a need.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a sleep center, required.
- Licensure/Certification: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills, medical terminology, previous experience with computers, manual dexterity and the capacity to deal with visual concepts; initiative and judgment to proceed with work without constant supervision; high degree of patience and understanding in dealing with unusual situations; ability to work flexible nighttime schedule; basic ECG recognition; general understanding of the concepts of polysomnography.
