JOB SUMMARY
The Nursing Student is a member of the patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The Nursing Student is assigned to work under the supervision of the licensed nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs, nurse student's skill level and abilities. The nursing Student provides care for the adolescent, adult or geriatric patient.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma Completion of High School or GED required.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited academic program leading to a diploma, associates degree or baccalaureate of nursing degree. Must have satisfactorily completed Nursing Fundamentals in same. Required
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
