Why Drive for Tennessee Steel Haulers?

Tennessee Steel Haulers is built by owner operators, for owner operators. We are a 100% owner-operator company that believes drivers should have control over their freight, their schedule, and their earnings.

Here, you're not answering to forced dispatch or chasing empty promises. You're booking quality customer freight, getting paid fast, and backed by a support team that understands what it takes to run a successful flatbed operation.

Owner Operator Job Overview

High earning potential, paid the right way. Top owner operators net up to $3,000 per week, with average gross earnings ranging from $5,000-$7,000 per week, depending on freight and lanes.*
Strong percentage pay that adds up. Earn 75% of linehaul, plus 100% fuel surcharge, tarping pay, stop pay, and detention pay - so every part of the job is compensated.*
Freedom to book the freight that works for you. No forced dispatch. Choose from a variety of flatbed freight lanes and run the loads that make the most sense for your operation.
Home time that stays reasonable. Enjoy weekly home time in most areas, giving you the balance to keep earning without staying out endlessly.

Bonuses, Support & Perks

Limited-time sign-on bonus. Owner Operators can earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a limited time - talk to a recruiter for details.*

Operator-focused support. Work with a dedicated driver support specialist, earn $2,000 referral bonuses, and qualify for clean inspection and driver-of-the-month incentives.*
Affordable operating costs. Take advantage of a weekly deduction program covering trucks, trailers, tags, insurance, and equipment - designed to keep your expenses predictable.

All pay and bonus amounts may vary by job type, location, experience level, and performance and are subject to change based on company discretion. Talk with a recruiter to confirm specific details.
