Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP) or incumbent must obtain CCC-SLP within the first year of employment and maintain certification throughout employment
- Active Alaska State License in Speech-Language Pathology is required to start the position
- Experience providing pediatric SLP services in hospital or inpatient settings preferred
- Experience with pediatric assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders
- Ability to work across settings including inpatient, outpatient, home visits, and community clinics
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to remote locations by boat or small plane for multiple days
- BLS Certification may be required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
