About the Position
We are seeking an experienced CDL A Flatbed Driver to support dedicated OTR operations based in Fort Worth, TX. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-weekly routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $28 per hour, plus benefits
- Schedule: Leave Sunday AM to Tuesday/Wednesday - Home - Thursday to Friday - Home Friday PM
- Start Time: Between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Route Schedule: Home weekly
Job Details
- Route Type: Dedicated OTR deliveries
- Freight: Flatbed freight
- Equipment: Flatbed
- Handling: Light-touch freight handling, including securing loads with straps and unloading
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on OTR routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards
- Secure loads properly using straps and other required equipment
- Unload freight as needed (sometimes required using Moffett or boom truck)
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- No endorsements required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
