We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract at a rural critical access hospital in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado.
This RN will work primarily in Med Surg and float to the Emergency Department as needed.
This is a great opportunity for an RN who is comfortable working independently, adapting quickly, and caring for a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in both the Medical-Surgical Unit and Emergency Department
- Float from Med Surg to the ER as needed
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients with a variety of illnesses and injuries
- Respond to emergency and trauma cases
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the care team
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using CPSI EMR
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
