About the Position
Our client is seeking experienced CDL A drivers to support local delivery operations in O'Fallon, Missouri. This seasonal opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the support of a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $29 per hour, plus overtime after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start time: 6:00 a.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekends: Off
- Employment type: Long-term flex
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery
- Freight: Mulch and compost
- Equipment: Open dump-style truck
- Handling: Light touch may be required if mulch or compost builds up in the trailer and does not slide out. Drivers may need to enter the trailer to release the material.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
- Transport mulch and compost in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
- Perform required handling tasks, including releasing material buildup in the trailer as needed.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- No endorsements required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
