About the Position
Our client is seeking a dependable CDL B Hazmat Driver for local, home-daily deliveries in Plainfield. This dedicated position offers steady weekday work, reliable scheduling, paid training, and the support of a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $1,425 weekly guaranteed minimum
- Additional pay: $0.54 per mile, with earning potential of up to $1,600 per week
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a 7:30 p.m. start time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Home time: Home daily
- Employment type: Dedicated
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery; local floater position covering routes where needed

- Equipment: 28-foot box truck with liftgate

- Handling: Manual handling using manual and electric pallet jacks
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL B equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards
- Perform required freight-handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel
- Meet the physical demands of the position
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL B license
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
