About the Position
Our client is seeking local CDL A Drivers for a consistent route between the Boston port and Taftville, Connecticut. This position covers routes throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and features no-touch freight. Automatic-only drivers are welcome to apply.
Pay & Schedule
- $30 per hour
- Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,800
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Start time between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Local work based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Complete two round trips each day between the Boston port and Taftville, Connecticut.
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle on local routes across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
- Transport furniture in 40-foot ocean containers.
- Perform no-touch freight operations while following all applicable safety and transportation regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Valid TWIC card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
