About the Position
Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A driver for local yard operations in Plainfield, Indiana. This dedicated position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $25 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 1:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Shift: 10-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Work arrangement: On-site
- Start date: August 31, 2026
Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment during local yard and delivery operations.
- Move and transport equipment in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
- Perform required light-touch handling tasks.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and climbing as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- No endorsements required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
