ROLE OVERVIEW:
To perform necessary maintenance on Ready Mix Plants throughout North Dakota. Overnight travel is required.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)
- Oversees the maintenance of all Ready Mix plant and equipment including the setup of new or temporary plant operations.
- Plans and coordinates schedule of preventative maintenance.
- Maintains inventory of parts and equipment and requisitions replacement stock.
- Estimates costs of personnel, parts and supplies to be used during maintenance.
- To keep equipment running and maintained properly to maximize production and quality.
- Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written); Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
- Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance, Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Back-up plant operator and performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)
- High School or GED plus higher trade or technical school or equivalent in related field
- 5+ years mechanical and electrical experience
- Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
