About the Position
Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver for a local, on-site assignment in Port Allen, Louisiana. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers consistent weekday work, home-daily routes, and the potential for long-term employment.
Pay & Schedule
- $25 per hour
- Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,200
- Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Home daily
- Temp-to-perm employment

Key Responsibilities
- Load, inspect, and safely secure cargo during transit.
- Collect required signatures on shipping and receiving documents.
- Complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel logs, daily logs, bills of lading, trip records, and expense reports.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Follow all state and federal DOT regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 85 pounds.
