Location Highlights
Frederick offers a blend of historic downtown living and outdoor access in western Maryland. Carroll Creek Park runs through the city center, and Cunningham Falls State Park is about 20 miles away for hiking and waterfall views. Downtown Frederick features the National Museum of Civil War Medicine and more than 50 murals in the arts district, giving the area both cultural and walkable appeal. The city sits near I-70 and I-270, and Washington, D.C. and Baltimore are each roughly an hour away, which supports access to major metro amenities while living in a smaller community.
