What You ll Do
As a Veterinary Emergency Technician at HVSH, you ll be on the front line of urgent patient care, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will:
- Triage incoming patients by assessing their medical needs and prioritizing treatments based on urgency.
- Provide immediate critical care administer fluids, medications, and other life-saving interventions while closely monitoring patient status.
- Collaborate with emergency veterinarians and fellow technicians to devise and execute treatment plans for a variety of acute and complex cases.
- Communicate compassionately with pet parents, offering clear updates, reassurance, and empathy during stressful moments.
- Maintain a calm, organized workspace and ensure rapid access to the supplies and equipment needed for emergency interventions.
- Participate in ongoing training and case discussions, sharpening your skills and staying current with the latest emergency protocols and best practices.

Anticipated Schedule
This is a full-time position with the following available schedule:
- 4 - 10 hour shifts
- Shifts range from 6a-9p
- Some weekend availability needed
