Location Highlights
Hughesville offers access to both Southern Maryland communities and outdoor recreation. The area is about 20 miles from Solomons Island, known for its waterfront dining and the Calvert Marine Museum, and it provides a quieter setting for clinicians who prefer a suburban pace. Patuxent River Naval Air Museum in Lexington Park is within regional driving distance, and residents also have access to parks and shoreline areas throughout St. Mary's, Calvert, and Charles counties. Washington, DC is roughly 35 miles north, giving travelers access to major museums, entertainment districts, and commuter connections while remaining based in a less congested area.
