Our client, a leader in the automotive electronics industry, is seeking a Electronics Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Electronics Validation Engineer, you will be part of the Electronics Test and Validation department supporting vehicle electronics validation and characterization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electronics Validation Engineer
Location: Irvine, California (On Site)
What's the Job?
- Develop detailed design verification and characterization test plans for ECU programs.
- Lead the execution of characterization testing plans according to project milestones.
- Perform bench-level characterization at IC and PCBA levels.
- Provide early feedback to design engineers regarding design decisions and testability.
- Write automation scripts and instrumentation drivers to enhance testing efficiency using Python.
What's Needed?
- BS/MS or equivalent work experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in electronics characterization and validation testing.
- Proficiency with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
- Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with scripting and data analysis using Python.
