What You'll Do
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling for patients receiving substance use disorder treatment
- Complete comprehensive assessments, psychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
- Conduct admissions, discharges, transfers, and ongoing patient evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals to coordinate patient care
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and wellness
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory and clinical documentation standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
- Active professional license required, including one of the following:
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)
- LICDC (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor)
- LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
- Experience in substance use disorder, addiction treatment, behavioral health, or mental health counseling preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and patient engagement skills.
