Join Levindale's Hall 2 team and become part of a compassionate, patient-centered environment dedicated to providing exceptional long-term care and memory support services. Hall 2 is a 50-bed long-term care and memory care unit that offers residents daily activities along with a wide range of services and support. The unit cares for residents with varying levels of acuity ranging from high-functioning individuals to bedbound residents. Common diagnoses include diabetes, cardiac conditions, dementia, behavioral health needs, and other chronic medical conditions.
Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate nursing care, supporting residents and families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Provide safe, age-appropriate nursing care in a long-term care and memory care setting
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring resident conditions and responses
- Provide education and emotional support to residents and families
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, rehabilitation staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately document patient care and outcomes within the electronic medical record
- Support residents with chronic conditions, dementia-related behaviors, and varying levels of care needs
- Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for residents and families
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient-centered care skills
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
- Less than one year of RN experience welcome to apply
Pay Range: $34.33 to $53.21 Based On Experience
