This is a CDL A Driver position based in Salem, Oregon, offering a pay rate of $28.00 per hour. This is a temp to perm opportunity with real support from a dedicated team to help you succeed.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay Rate: $28.00 Per Hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM
- Overtime expected depending on business needs
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight: Primarily hauling pipe, iron fittings, and valves
- Equipment: Freightliner or F250 pickup and flatbed trailer
- Handling: Heavy Touch
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a freightliner or F250 pickup and flatbed trailer to deliver materials
- Performing warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and general housekeeping
- Ensuring cargo is properly secured and within weight limits
- Communicating with your supervisor throughout the day and validating delivery directions
- Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A
- 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Must have sit down forklift experience
- Smartphone savvy
- Customer service skills with a friendly personality
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
