I’m a recruiter partnering with a state-run inpatient mental health hospital in Denver to help find compassionate nurses for 13-week contract assignments. Position Details
What You’ll Be Doing

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for patients with psychiatric and medical conditions

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

Administer medications and monitor effectiveness and side effects

Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams

Assist with crisis intervention and therapeutic interventions

Support patients through counseling, psychoeducation groups, and skill-building activities

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient updates to care teams
Orientation:
- First 2 weeks: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- $40/hr (non-patient facing)
- After orientation, you’ll receive your schedule (days or nights)
Process:
- Takes minimum of 1 month to get through the background and requirements

Nurses may assist with therapeutic activities and occasionally escort patients to appointments or activities

Must be flexible with scheduling, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
