How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments
- Administers medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborates with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educates patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
- Promotes patient safety and participates in quality improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or Diploma). Additional requirements include:
- CPR/BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- CRRN certification preferred
- Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Schedule
3x12, Days (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends
