Bethel Mill Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. Responsibilities include: - Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
- Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery using full monitoring suites including ECG, blood pressure, SpO2, and body temperature
- Assisting in surgery, including soft tissue procedures, oral surgery, and selected orthopedic cases
- Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
- Performing with cystocentesis, IV/IM injections, IV catheter placement, and microscope evaluation
- Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
- Supporting client communication throughout surgical and hospitalization cases, including updates and discharge coordination
- Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
Schedule and compensation: - Compensation: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, Monday-Friday. Evening and closing shifts are required. Saturday hours are currently limited to food and prescription pickup only, with the possibility of expanded Saturday hours in the future.

Minimum qualifications and skill set: - 3+ years of veterinary technician experience strongly preferred
- Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of New Jersey strongly preferred
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Cystocentesis and IV catheter placement
- IV/IM medication administration and accurate drug calculations
- Venipuncture and laboratory sample collection
- Radiology positioning and safety protocols
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to high standards, continuous learning, and AAHA-level protocols
