About the Position
We are currently seeking a Local CDL B Driver for dedicated delivery routes in Dodge City, Kansas. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $30 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. The role involves hauling heavy construction equipment and parts on local routes.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $30 per hour
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 3 AM to 1 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a sprinter van or a straight truck
- Drive dedicated routes with varying stops each night - Travel up to 450+ miles depending on stop volume
- Scan, sort, and load/unload freight at the point of origin and delivery locations
- Operate manual pallet jacks and forklifts for store delivery
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL B
- 1+ year of experience in a similar vehicle
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained on the forklift
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
