Canyons Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.
In this role, you will:
- Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
- Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
- Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
- Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.
This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, no weekends.
Full-time benefits and compensation**: - Compensation: $20 - $25.50 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000

Minimum qualifications and skill set: - 4+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Utah
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Client communication
- Anesthesia induction/intubation/monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis
- IVC placement
- Blood draws
- Outpatient care
