TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Hazmat Driver to support local operations based in Newton, NC. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Monday - Friday
- Start time 8:00 PM
- 10- 12 hour shift
- Pay: $0.61 cents per mile
- Route Type: Shuttle
- Handling: No Touch
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A with Hazmat Endorsement
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Equipment Experience: tractor trailer and freight delivery experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 52' tractor trailer on local routes
- Transport food in accordance with DOT and company safety standards to warehouses
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to safely lift 50 lbs
