Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Wichita, KS. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and ensure quality assurance of imaging equipment, assist with patient monitoring, and support complex procedures including embolization, Y-90, peripheral interventions, drain placements, biopsies, spine procedures, neuro coiling, and stroke thrombectomy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech experience (client requirement).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Active Kansas state licensure required.
- Experience with angiography/IR suites and digital imaging systems (e.g., Philips biplane, GE single-plane) preferred.
- Experience in trauma centers and prior stroke procedure experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with high-acuity and trauma cases preferred.
- Experience with MAC lab documentation preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform a broad range of IR procedures including neuro and peripheral interventions preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 07:00–17:30.
- Procedures include both outpatient and inpatient cases, averaging 10–12 procedures per day.
- Call requirements include one weekend per month and one night per week.
- Work directly in an interventional radiology suite with multiple angiography rooms.
