Join a hospital in Florence, SC as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while practicing in an acute care environment. You will evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers to discharge, and document care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. You will maintain professional licensure, support student learning when assigned, and participate in performance improvement and community outreach activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active South Carolina state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage caseloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient documentation skills, including daily notes, goal writing, discharge documentation, and use of electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with patient and family education, equipment trialing, and discharge planning.
- Experience supervising or precepting students.
- Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
