Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Bowling Green, KY at a long term acute care hospital. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a team-focused, safety-centered environment. The therapist will perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, participate in interdisciplinary care and discharge planning, supervise COTAs and students as appropriate, document in accordance with facility policy, and promote continuous quality improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience in acute, long-term, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document according to facility policy.
- Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with safe patient handling techniques and infection control practices.
- Background in discharge planning and adaptive equipment recommendations.
- Experience working within interdisciplinary teams in LTACH or trauma/acute rehab environments.
