Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Maryland physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing outpatient physical therapy services, including comprehensive evaluations and development of individualized treatment plans.
- Experience with documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to other therapy personnel and participate in student education programs.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling practices and infection control procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel or multi-site outpatient clinic experience.
- Experience with 60-minute evaluations in outpatient settings.
- Active participation in professional development activities and completion of discipline-specific continuing education.
