Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Kentucky Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient neuro or inpatient rehab settings preferred; clinical rotation experience in outpatient neuro is acceptable.
- Demonstrated competency in comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning, goal writing, and documentation (including letters of medical necessity and discharge documentation).
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage individual and group treatment sessions, and participate in student supervision when assigned.
- Adherence to state practice act, maintenance of professional licensure and completion of required continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in outpatient neuro settings preferred.
- Experience with safe patient handling and equipment trialing for discharge planning preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8.
- Setting focus: outpatient neuro within an inpatient rehab/acute rehab environment.
- May be required to participate in student education and professional development activities.
