This role supports adult and mixed outpatient caseloads with emphasis on skilled, evidence-based interventions and strong patient handling.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers from AHA or American Red Cross required.
- Minimum 1+ year of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting required. This includes patient handling, transfer techniques, and caseload management.
- Required skills: strong interpersonal communication, time management, ability to work independently, flexibility, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Experience in hospital-based outpatient rehab facilities preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1600.
- Schedule pattern includes a mix of start times noted in facility schedule: typical weekly coverage includes Monday, Wednesday full day, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with varied start/end times per departmental schedule.
- No major holidays, no weekends, no call.
- Dress code: scrubs or business casual.
