Become a vital part of a Richmond, VA hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that support patient care. You must maintain professional communication with radiologists, nursing staff, and patients while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years CT technologist experience in a hospital setting required.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography or ARRT (R) with CT registry eligibility as allowed by client.
- Valid Virginia license or participation via Nurse Licensure Compact/appropriate compact authority at time of submission.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with contrast administration protocols and venous access for contrast delivery.
- Familiarity with hospital PACS and electronic medical record systems.
