Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Greenwood, IN at an inpatient hospital rehabilitation setting where you will help patients recover from severe injury or illness and manage chronic conditions. This role focuses on intensive, individualized rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. You will work with an interdisciplinary team in an accredited inpatient rehabilitation program.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Indiana state PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation experience required. Experience treating stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, amputation, or complex orthopedic cases preferred.
- Dual-licensed PT/OT candidates preferred where noted by the client.
Preferred Qualifications
- CARF or Joint Commission experience preferred through prior employment in accredited rehab programs.
- Experience working in a 44-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital or similar-sized facility preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional weekends as needed.
