Become a vital part of a Charleston, SC hospital as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment for trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient exams. You will work within Meditech for documentation and collaborate with clinical teams to support high-quality patient imaging services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT (ARRT(R)(CT)).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- SCRQSA certification required.
- At least 1 year of CT technologist experience in a hospital setting. (1+ years acceptable.)
- Experience performing trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient CT exams.
- Experience with GE CT equipment, including GE 64 Rev Evo and GE 128 Rev EVO or similar multi-slice CT scanners.
- Experience using Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Previous experience in a high-acuity hospital with 300+ beds.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1900–0730.
- Work schedule includes rotation covering every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
- Scheduling requirement includes Friday–Sunday coverage and holiday coverage as required.
