Become a vital part of a Charleston, SC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment to support trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient imaging needs. Timely, professional communication and adherence to department protocols are required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current ARRT (CT) certification required.
- CPR (BLS) certification required.
- SCRQSA certification required.
- One or more years of CT technologist experience preferred; experience in a hospital setting, including trauma and emergency department imaging, required.
- Experience operating GE 64- and GE 128-series CT equipment preferred.
- Experience with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced CT skills and experience performing trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient CT exams.
- Previous work in a 300+ bed hospital environment preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-2030.
- Scheduling requirements include working Friday through Sunday and holidays in rotation.
- Rotation includes every other weekend and holiday coverage in accordance with facility policy.
