Acute care medical‑surgical unit
24‑bed unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
1:10 CA-to-nurse ratio
Diverse patient population including medical, surgical, testing, and observation patients
Common comorbidities: diabetes, hypertension, stroke, renal, and psychiatric conditions

How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

What we're looking for
Applicants must have an Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Additional requirements include:
- A current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Hourly range - $33.31 -$44.97
