Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide in-home physical therapy services to patients across the Newton, MA area. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care. Utilize timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working within a certified home health agency.
- Ability to travel to patient cases as assigned within the service area.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hospice, private care, or care coordination preferred but not a substitute for certified home health agency experience.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Weekend rotations occur approximately once every six weeks.
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned within the region.
