Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in San Jose, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily skills following injury, illness, or decline. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a 130-bed skilled nursing environment and to support a multidisciplinary team focused on functional outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes Monday through Friday with an alternate weekend rotation.
- Ability to manage typical caseloads in a 130-bed post-acute/skilled nursing setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with documentation systems used in skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Experience treating medically complex and geriatric populations preferred.
Assignment Details
- M-F schedule with alternate weekend rotation.
- 36 hours per week.
