Become a vital part of the care team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Richmond, VA. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials as indicated, and operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality studies in a hospital setting. This role requires adherence to safety and infection control standards and collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff to support patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years CT Technologist experience.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography as required by employer.
- BLS certification.
- Experience working in a hospital imaging department preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies and advanced CT protocols.
- Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
- Prior experience working night shifts in an acute care environment preferred.
