Join a traveling team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role supporting physicians and Cath lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment and support patient monitoring to capture critical data of the heart and vascular system.
Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist required.
- Cath lab experience required. Must have experience scrubbing and monitoring in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, including angiogram and PCI procedures.
- Experience with complex cases preferred, including CTO, left main interventions, PFO closures, device implants, pulmonary embolism thrombectomy, peripheral interventions, and structural heart procedures.
- STEMI coverage experience required.
- Experience using mechanical circulatory support devices expected, including Impella and IABP.
- Experience with monitoring/recording systems (MacLab preferred). Willingness to train on MacLab if needed.
- Knowledge of cath lab products and ability to restock procedure rooms.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- State licensure as required by Arizona.
- EMR experience with Cerner preferred.
- ARRT required. RCIS certification will not be accepted in place of ARRT (RCIS may be listed as preferred only).
Preferred Qualifications
- Structural heart procedure experience preferred but not required.
- RCIS certification from CCI preferred (not acceptable in lieu of ARRT).
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0600 - 1630.
- Schedule: 4x10s per notes (day shift pattern referenced).
- On-call requirement: approximately 9–10 shifts per month and one weekend per month.
- Must be willing to scrub and monitor procedures, including sterile technique duties.
