Job Description Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City has an opportunity for a Transplant Coordinator.
This position is Full Time Days The Work: - The transplant coordinator serves as a member of the transplant team and collaborates with the transplant physician specialists, surgeons and APPs for inpatient and outpatient pre or post-transplant patient care.
- Makes recommendations for policy and protocol changes based upon literature review.
- Coordinates multi-disciplinary evaluation and update of candidates by incorporating current transplant standards of care.
- Actively participates in patient selection committee and makes recommendation to team for candidacy.
- Responsible for managing patient care and needs in post transplant patients. Takes call for urgent evaluations and listing needs.
- Required to become certified as a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator at 2 years in the role.

2 years
Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
