Dell Medical School is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations RN
Purpose
The Manager, Clinical Operations RN oversees the daily operations of clinical departments within the healthcare system, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, this role collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities include managing staff, developing and implementing policies, and overseeing budgets.
Responsibilities
Clinical Operations Management
Manages daily clinical operations to ensure efficiency.
Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Develops and implements clinical policies and procedures.
Staff Supervision
Supervises clinical staff, including recruitment and performance evaluation.
Provides leadership and guidance to the clinical team.
Promotes a positive and professional work environment.
Quality Improvement
Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Monitors patient care quality and implements corrective actions.
Ensures accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Budget Management
Assists in the preparation and management of the department’s budget.
Monitors expenditures and ensures cost-effective operations.
Allocates resources efficiently to meet departmental goals.
Collaboration and Communication
Works closely with the Director of Clinical Services and other senior management.
Facilitates communication between clinical staff and administrative personnel.
Represents the clinical department in meetings and discussions.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Minimum of 5 year(s) of nursing experience in a clinical setting and 2 year(s) of supervisory experience. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration with at least 7 year(s) of nursing experience in a clinical setting. Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML), or Nurse Executive-Board Certified (NE-BC).
Salary Range
$100,500 + depending on qualifications
