Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Marlborough, MA (Home Health) where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while gaining experience in a community-focused home health setting. You will perform patient evaluations, provide therapeutic services per physician orders, and collaborate with clinical leadership. Direct supervision and evaluation responsibilities for Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or relevant accrediting body.
- Current, active and unencumbered state license to practice Physical Therapy in MA prior to the start of the assignment.
- Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
- Experience providing home health physical therapy or comparable outpatient/acute care experience preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation and basic computer skills, including email and electronic health record navigation.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance for home visit responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred.
- Experience supervising or mentoring PTAs and home health aides preferred.
- Experience developing and updating plans of care and coordinating discharge planning.
Assignment Details
- Shift Name: Evenings.
- Schedule: 5x8 shifts.
- Home visits required. Must be available to travel within the agency's service area as assigned.
