Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active state Physical Therapy license in Iowa is required prior to start. Candidates not licensed in Iowa but willing to obtain and apply at time of offer should state this in their submittal profile.
- Minimum 2 years of previous inpatient physical therapy experience required.
- At least one completed travel contract preferred.
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Experience working in an inpatient hospital setting, familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.
- Not employed by the client facility within the last 12 months.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Required submission documents: driver's license, resume/work history, skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission, license verification, copies of required certifications, and one supervisory reference at time of submission.
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience floating across local campuses within the same discipline preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift start times available: 07:00, 08:00, or 09:00 (option for 5x8 schedule).
- Schedule pattern: 5x8 with typical hours 08:00–17:00 noted in facility shift details.
- Weekend coverage: Preferred approximately 1 per month; open to discussion with candidate.
- May be required to float across local campuses within the same discipline.
- EMR: EPIC.
- Orientation dates are provided by the facility.

Impacting Patient Care
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler will contribute clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to inpatient populations. The traveler will support patient recovery, collaborate with nursing and rehab colleagues, and follow facility policies and documentation standards.
