Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Active Maryland state license in Speech-Language Pathology required prior to start.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia evaluations and treatment, including use of compensatory strategies and therapeutic exercises preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with interdisciplinary discharge planning and documentation in an electronic medical record preferred.
- Experience with restorative programs and caregiver education preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 08:30-16:30.
- Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
- Meal break: 30 minutes.
- Typical weekly hours: 30 hours per week.
