Provide discipline-specific direction for therapy services, document care clearly and timely, and participate in performance improvement and student education as assigned. Maintain professional licensure, follow state practice act requirements, and adhere to clinic policies for safety, appearance, attendance, and confidentiality.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy or similar ambulatory environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document per regulatory and payer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supervising students or providing clinical education.
- Experience with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Participation in performance improvement or quality initiatives.
