Join a Philadelphia, PA outpatient clinic as a traveling Physical Therapist. Provide evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and modify care based on patient needs and physician direction. Deliver functional programs that support return to community activities and delegate discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate. Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers. Complete timely, accurate documentation and ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and payer authorization when required. Maintain professional licensure and follow state practice acts and regulatory requirements. Participate in performance improvement activities and promote a culture of safety, including safe patient handling and infection prevention.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Pennsylvania state license in Physical Therapy required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred.
- Ability to complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
- Experience supervising and mentoring students preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel therapy or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
- Demonstrated involvement in professional development and performance improvement initiatives preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8.
- Floating to other facilities may be required.
