Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
- Active Texas state license required. Compact license accepted if applicable.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required.
- Experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehab settings required.
- Ability to screen, evaluate, and develop plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice.
- Experience documenting regulatory- and clinically-required information in electronic medical records and accurately recording treatment minutes.
- Ability to supervise and support CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years experience holding active CCS preferred.
- Active ASHA membership preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 8 hour days.
- Weekly Guarantee: 35 guaranteed work week (gww).
- Weekend Requirement: None.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facility locations as needed.

Impacting Patient Care
Provide comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatment for patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation team meetings. Deliver discharge summaries and ensure documentation meets regulatory and clinical standards.
